Bereaved Parent Support Group
This is a 7-week session held on Sunday afternoons starting in January, led by Brianne Edwards and Dionne Eastmo. The discussion will be rooted in the Catholic faith, but all are welcome to attend. Watch for registration to open in December.

Bereaved Parent Support Group
This is a ten-week non-denominational support group held at Terra Sancta Retreat Center for parents who have lost a child. It is facilitated by Eric and Melissa Rineard, using the Understanding Your Grief book by Alan Wolfelt. For more information on the next session, contact Melissa at 605-755-8504
Pregnancy Loss Retreat:
This is a two-hour retreat held at Terra Sancta Retreat Center for parents who have lost a child during pregnancy. The inaugural retreat was held on November 9, 2025, and we hope to add regularly scheduled retreats on the near future!
Rapid City Grief Support Events:
Held: A Spiritual Retreat for Grieving Parents
Join other grieving parents as together we discover the Lord’s presence in our grief. In this retreat you will find a series of talks and stories, each cradled by opportunities for prayer and contemplation.
The retreat is designed and led by bereaved parents Dionne Eastmo and Brianne Edwards under the direction of a local priest.
The retreat is rooted in the Catholic tradition, but is open to all grieving parents who are seeking to be held by our Lord.
Retreats will be scheduled as interest allows.

A 2-hour virtual prayer retreat available anytime!
This retreat was created in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day that takes place on October 15th each year, hosted by Red Bird Ministries.
We all come as families of child loss to pray with you and honor the life of your precious child. Registration is free but required for pdf materials. Upon checking out, you will get access to the video that will be delivered to you via email.
We are honored to pray with you in memory of your beloved children.
Run for Their Lives!

This event a casual and family-friendly Mother’s Day 5K race/run/walk held each year on Mother’s Day from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Spearfish.
This event is a place to gather the people that we love and participate together in memory of the children that we are missing.
It is a place to celebrate motherhood in its fullness of love, joy, gratitude and sorrow. We invite bereaved mothers to have their children included on our list of children remembered and their names will be listed on the back of our event t-shirt.
