I AM HERE Campaign

What would it look like if your parish doubled, tripled, or quadrupled participation in Eucharistic Adoration? If your chapel was overflowing with people seeking Jesus?

Imagine the transformation of hearts that would take place in our parish communities. Think of the healing, conversion, and revival that would follow!

I AM HERE is a campaign to help you ignite this revival in your parish by:

  • Inspiring people throughout your diocese by sharing local stories of ordinary people who share the difference that Jesus in the Eucharist makes in their lives.
  • Inviting people in your parish to come and see Jesus for themselves in the Eucharist.
  • And when they take the first step and visit Jesus in the Eucharist, helping them hear Jesus’ words “I AM HERE.”

Join I AM HERE and become a parish partner.

  • Your parish will have its own webpage published in both English and Spanish on iamhere.org
  • Your parish’s webpage will feature the stories of people from your parish whose lives have been transformed by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist.
  • Your parish will receive free materials to promote Eucharistic adoration within your community.
  • Your parishioners can use I AM HERE meditations on the Hallow App for free to help them get started and guide their prayer during Adoration.

To become a parish partner, contact Shawna Hanson, Point Person, Eucharistic Revival Diocese of Rapid City shanson@diorc.org

The Rules for the Discernment of Spirits

Tuesdays. Jan. 23 through Feb. 27. From 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m., a weekly workshop series with Susan Safford. Not every thought you have comes from you. Thoughts may come from God, they may come from you, or they may come from the enemy. We are in a spiritual battle, and the Lord is seeking to draw us nearer to himself, while the enemy is trying to keep us from him.  Inspired by God and attentive to the movements of the heart, Ignatius developed rules for the discernment of spirits, as part of his Spiritual Exercises, that we may be better able to distinguish between those movements that are of God, that we may receive them, and those that are not, that we may reject them. In this 6-week course, we’ll discuss the first set of rules for discernment and seek to apply them to practical experience. at Terra Sancta Retreat Center. $75 for the series.  Scholarships available.  Register on-line at http://terrasancta.org/discern.
