Sunday, June 16, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Hot Springs, members of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Knights of Columbus  Council gave scholarships to four graduating senior high school students. Catholic Daughters regent Irma Fees presents $500 scholarships to Maggie Preuss, Lily Thielmann, and Karina Novotny at the St Anthony graduation Mass. The CDA applicants have to explain how their faith has helped them in their life ,and  will shape their future plans, as well as info about their school, church and community activities.

Knights of Columbus Treasurer John Lane presents a $500 scholarship to Martin Lane at the graduation Mass. For the Knight’s scholarship the applicants write an essay. All the students have been active in their parish. (Courtesy photos)
