The Diocese of Rapid City is blessed by the diocesan perpetual adoration chapel at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Since April of 2014, dedicated adorers come before our Lord Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Their commitment allows others to visit and pray at any time between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. when the Cathedral doors are unlocked.

In Matthew 26:40, Jesus said to Peter, “So you could not keep watch with me for one hour?” As you consider what you can give Jesus this lent, why not one hour? The graces God has to offer you are abundant.

Wondering how you might spend an hour with Jesus? You can read scripture, pray the Rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet, meditate, or simply rest quietly in his presence. Many adorers find peace, strength, and renewal in these quiet moments.
