Reception for Jubilee Pilgrims

Year of Hope pilgrims will be walking from Spearfish to Rapid City June 6-8. It will be 3 days and 60 miles of walking (or trail-bike riding if that is the capacity you are able to participate in) concluding with reaching the Year of Hope Cross, a shared meal, and finally 5:30pm Sunday Mass at the Cathedral. The route will be marked throughout because the first two days will be completely at your own pace.

• Day 1 – 23 miles
• Day 2 – 25 miles
• Day 3 – 13 miles

This journey is sponsored by To the Heights – the St. Joseph Catholic Church Young Adult Group, and will be supported by many generous donors of time and space including the parishes of St Francis of Assisi in Sturgis, and Our Lady of the Black Hills in Piedmont who will be hosting the group overnight, and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help who, along with Bishop Scott Bullock, will be receiving us at the finale of our pilgrimage journey. This Pilgrimage will allow you to attain a Plenary Indulgence.
