Invitation to prayer and aid

Following the devastating earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria earlier this week, we lift up our hearts in prayer, together with Pope Francis and all the faithful around the world. As the death toll continues to climb, we mourn with our brothers and sisters, who will experience hardships and suffering for many months to come. I invite you to give generously to Catholic Relief Services as they work to provide relief to the many in need. Your gifts will help to provide safe shelter, and access to food, clean water, and hygiene supplies. Although we cannot fully explain the mystery of suffering, our generosity in prayer and financial aid can help to bring the love of Christ to those who are suffering.
