WSDCF Grant Cycle Open

The Western South Dakota Catholic Foundation’s Grant & Awards cycle for fiscal year 2026-27 closes on October 1. Last year, the WSDCF approved the allocation of $1,358,873.70 in awards and grants to parishes, schools, and ministries across the Diocese of Rapid City, an additional $218,000 over the previous year.

This year’s grant training will take place on September 3, from 1–3pm, at the Chancery Office. A Zoom option will be available, and the session will be recorded for those who cannot attend in person. The grants are approved by the WSDCF Distribution Committee at the end of October, then voted on by the WSDCF board in November. Grant awardees are informed by Dec. 31. The distribution of checks will take place in July 2027.

For help applying for a grant or questions about the grant training, contact Communications & Events Director Sarah Bakker, at 605-721-6843.
