West River Catholic
The West River Catholic is the official newspaper for the Diocese of Rapid City. Based on parish registrations, it is sent free to all Catholic households. Since May 1973 it has had a threefold mission:
- To keep the people of western South Dakota in touch with their bishop.
- To build a sense of community and solidarity among the Catholics living in the geographically large area that comprises the Diocese of Rapid City.
- To bring news of events and programs, which will instruct, inspire and inform the faithful.
