2026 Spring Vita Christi Retreat

On April 24-26, approximately 100 adults from across the diocese gathered for the spring Vita Christi Retreat, which was focused on the topic of the Holy Spirit and Pentecost. The retreat’s talks focused on the transformation and restoration that the Holy Spirit desires to bring to our lives. Though this radical transformation is available to all Christians, we often do not allow the Holy Spirit freedom to act in our hearts and lives. At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came in power and transformed the lives of the Apostles and others present. We often forget that the graces of Pentecost are always available to the Church and to each Christian. In order for the Church to have the joy, vitality, and fruitfulness that God desires, we need the Holy Spirit!

All the retreatants were encouraged to prepare for Pentecost (May 24) by asking for a New Pentecost over the whole diocese and Church. We encourage all the faithful of the diocese to join together, asking for this special grace.
