Spiritual Direction Mid-year Session
March 7-9, an optional mid-year session of the Covenant School of Spiritual Direction was held for those students able to attend at the Sioux Spiritual Center, Howes. During this session, Ellen Hogarty taught “Second Week Rules of Discernment,” by St. Ignatian.
The Covenant School of Spiritual Direction was developed to help address the growing need for trained spiritual directors. The school includes a wealth of solid teaching from experienced spiritual directors and experts in theology and the spiritual life. The school emphasizes the personal transformation of the student over the transfer of information, the development of a strong prayer life, and the acquisition of the skills necessary to accompany others on their journey toward intimacy with God. The repeating three-year program focuses on prayer, healing, and growth. New students can join any year for the three years of the program. Space is available for the next session scheduled for September 11-24, 2022.
