Rapid City Catholic School System
To celebrate All Saints Day, eighth grade students from St. Thomas More Middle School learned about and dressed as a saint and attended Mass with the St. Elizabeth Seton students on October 27. During the Mass the entire eighth grade class prays the Litany of Saints with the younger kids. In groups of two and three, the eighth graders then follow the elementary students to their classrooms where they teach about the saints and provide an activity – coloring, singing, etc. – followed by a pep rally in the gym.
Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Rapid City
The Cathedral’s Mom’s group hosted an All Saints’ Day party on Nov. 1st in celebration of the Feast Day. The party included themed games and snacks, as well as a candle station so families could take home a candle to light in honor of their deceased friends and family for All Souls’ Day. To top it off, there were appearances by many different little Saints in the parade of Saints. All Holy Men and Women, Pray for Us!
