National Eucharistic Procession to travel through Nebraska

This spring Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, will process from North, South, East and West in four routes across our country, praying for hearts to be set on fire, healed and renewed. Perpetual pilgrims will spend 60 days on the road and host events. On July 17 the four routes will converge in Indianapolis, Indiana, for the opening of the first National Eucharistic Congress in 83 years. The Diocese of Rapid City encourages families, parishioners, and youth groups to take part in this unprecedented National Eucharistic Pilgrimage. Our closest access is the Serra Route mostly along the I-80 corridor in the Diocese of Lincoln. This will take place between June 12 and 21. This will be a prayerful and beautiful transition of the passing of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage from one diocese to another across the historic Platte River in Nebraska. Please bring lots of water and a sack lunch if you are joining us for the full 12 mile Eucharistic Procession.
