Speaker update: Feb 13
The past few weeks have been an intense time for our originally scheduled speaker, Adam Minihan. We’ve been chatting with him as his wife and baby’s situation has developed. On Thursday, February 6, Baby #5 graced this world earlier than expected at 29 weeks. Weighing just 2lbs, Mary underwent intensive surgery on February 11, and we agreed in prudence to find another speaker for this year’s conference to allow Adam to be home with his wife and family. We are grateful that Devin Schadt and Bishop Bullock will be speaking at this year’s conference. Learn more about Devin below!
Devin Schadt
Devin Schadt is the founder and executive director of the Fathers of St. Joseph, an apostolate that labors for the restoration, redemption, and revitalization of fatherhood by helping men live St. Joseph’s spirituality. Devin is the author of over twenty books, a frequent guest on Relevant Radio, the co-host on The Catholic Gentleman, and weekly posts on The Way of a Man blog. All of us have a mission to fulfill, but many of us struggle to know what that mission is because we fail to know who we really are. In the first of the two talks, Who Are You? Devin Schadt helps you understand the importance of your identity, why the evil one is intent on keeping you from living that identity, his strategy to destroy that identity and practical steps to becoming who you really are in Christ. In the second talk, Where Are You? Devin outlines every man’s role and mission in God’s plan, how that mission is unique from the woman, and practical ways to live and become the saint, God has destined you to be.
