Diaconate/Lay Ministry Retreat

A retreat for the Diaconate Candidate Couples and Lay Ministry students was held at the Sioux Spiritual Center on March 18-20. The retreat was titled Hearing God’s Voice and it was led by Dr. Carole Brown, director of the Sioux Spiritual Center and Deacon Greg Sass, director of the Diaconate/Lay Ministry. The retreat provided ways to help the retreatants learn more ways to hear the voice of God. It included prayer, adoration, journaling, faith sharing, and healing. An annual retreat is required for those in formation. The closing Mass was celebrated by Bishop Peter Muhich.
