Have you ever felt that the grief of losing a child is difficult to explain to those who haven’t lived it? Do you still carry an ache for the baby you loved, no matter how much time has passed? Behold Your Child is a quiet invitation for mothers and fathers to come alongside others who understand this kind of loss, to speak your child’s story aloud, and to bring the sorrow you carry into the loving presence of the Lord. You do not have to carry your grief alone. Led by Dcn. Phillip and Teresa Thompson, held at Terra Sancta, Sunday October 18 from 3-5pm. Registration required, no cost.

“Put on the armor of God, so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil.” — Ephesians 6:11

Every day, we face a spiritual battle for our hearts, our faith, and our relationship with Christ. The world offers countless distractions and temptations that can pull us away from the life God is calling us to—but He has not left us to face the battle on our own. Through the Sacraments, prayer, Scripture, the Rosary, Mary, and the pursuit of holiness, God gives us the grace and strength we need to stand firm and live faithfully. At Battle Ready, we will explore the reality of spiritual battle, discover the “weapons” God has given us, and learn how to use them to grow in holiness, resist what pulls us away from Christ, and live boldly as His disciples. Come discover what it means to be equipped, strengthened, and ready to stand firm in Christ.

The retreat will be directed by the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

Please bring with you a Bible, journal, and Rosary.
Holy Mass will be celebrated daily, and the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation will also be available.
We invite you to consider bringing a snack to share!

For CLEM: This retreat will count for 7 hours of ongoing formation.

NOTE CHANGE IN TIME! October’s movie will begin at 6:45. Join us for our second year of “Cinema with the Shepherd”: Bishop Bullock’s annual film festival! This year’s slate of films will feature films from the “Vatican 45 Notable Films.” The Pontifical Council for Social Communications released a list of 45 films in 1995 to mark the centennial of Auguste and Louis Lumière’s display of their films. The films were chosen by an expert group, and Pope St. John Paul II recommended that these films be watched.
