Bishop Peter presided over a special graduation Mass for the Basic and Master’s students of the diocesan Veritatis Splendor Institute catechetical formation program. Students in the Basic program completed a year worth of classes in Creed & Kerygma, The Moral Life, Sacraments & Liturgy, and Catechetical Methods. Students in the Master’s program completed two years’ worth of classes in Fundamental Theology, Trinity, Eschatology, Mariology, Old Testament Scripture, The Gospels,  and New Testament Epistles. Also recognized were the Cor ad Cor Spirituality Year Retreatants who completed a 30-week retreat based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
