Annual Diocesan Appeal 2024
“In the middle 1980s, I went to seminary to discern if God was calling me to the priesthood. While I ultimately discovered it was not my calling, I found another way to live out the Gospel in service of families and those in need in our diocese. Years later, when my son discerned the Lord’s call and entered the seminary, I was overjoyed. Witnessing his ordination to the transitional diaconate was a powerful and moving experience. I am grateful for how our diocese has encouraged and accompanied us in our vocations. Exploring God’s call and then doing whatever He asks leads to a life of meaning and a joy the world cannot offer.”
