Ongoing Education Advisory Committee

Within the body of Certified Lay Ecclesial Ministers (CLEM), there will exist an Ongoing Education Advisory Committee that will work with the Director of Faith Formation to help plan various ongoing educational opportunities for CLEM.

The committee would consist of:

- - Director of the Office of Faith Formation
  - Other designated members of the Office of Faith Formation
  - 10 Deanery Representatives (2 reps from each deanery)
  - 1 Communication Coordinator (can be from any deanery)

Ongoing Formation Requirements

To be able to serve well in any field or task, it is necessary for us to continually form ourselves. Formation is never a one time moment or period of time. This is also true for every Christian, and more so for those who serve and minister in the Church in positions of leadership. Therefore, in order to retain “active” status, all CLEM members are called to ongoing formation.

CLEM members are required to receive 12 hours of ongoing formation each year.
