Hurtig to chair
Youth Commission
Nancy Hurtig is the new chair of the Youth Commission. Hurtig succeeds Pat Roe, who has served since 2002. She recently graduated with a B.S. in education from Black Hills State University and has received her Youth Ministry Certification. She has been a youth group leader, chaperoned for Steubenville and World Youth Day events and is the Faith Formation Director at her parish, St. Therese Church the Little Flower, Rapid City.
As chair of the Youth Commission Hurtig will oversee all activities including budgeting and public relations for the commission. She will also oversee the development of youth ministry at the parish level.
Hurtig and her husband, Dale, have three children. She can be reached at the St. Therese office from 9 a.m. - noon.
