Celebrity Carson Kressley presented Nixon with her award at the star-studded event. Nixon joins five other young adults from across the country in encouraging others to make a difference. The winners were selected from over 6,000 video and essay entries. Winners will be recognized this month in American Eagle stores nationwide. The exact award amount is still pending.
Grace and Leah Nixon, the Ladybug Ladies, are close to reaching their $100,000 goal for Habitat for Humanity. Since beginning on Mother’s Day of 2004, the sisters have raised over $72,000.
