Catholics are challenged to grow in knowledge of their faith by responding to God’s
continuous call for conversion, by participating in liturgical celebrations and in parish
community life, and by collaborating in the church’s mission of evangelization.

RENEW is a spiritual and evangelization process designed for parish life
in the 21st century. It incorporates themes suggested by Pope John Paul II for
pastoral life in the new millennium and implements the call
of Pope Benedict XVI for a new evangelization.

PASTORAL MINISTRY DAYS

Pastoral Ministry Days is an annual gathering of priests, religious, lay ministers,
and parish and chancery staff members held to inspire, inform, and energize the
participants in their respective ministries. The two-day conference concludes with
the Chrism Mass, during which the bishop blesses the oils used in the sacraments.
