PURPOSE:
The pastoral council
of the Diocese of Rapid City serves as a consultative
and advisory association to Bishop Cupich on
matters relating to pastoral activity and provides
a channel of communication between the bishop
and the people of the diocese. The council also
collaborates with the bishop in implementing
the strategies
and goals of Synod 2002.
The council was established in accordance with
the Code of Canon Law, which was revised after
the Second Vatican Council. Click here for
